    New BV

Pickup my mkII BV an hour ago . Did a bit of lighting to the trigger and have it at 1lb 3oz. Mounted an old burris fullfield 6-18x42mm 1/8" dot scope on it. Just have to find time to get to the range now. Barrel looks good cleaned up nice . Time well time if its a shooter.

The first ammo I shot out of my BV was S-K Standard Plus, 25 rounds cut a 1-1/4" hole at 100. Thats all thats been shot in that barrel ever since. Bought the rest of the case at the store (2 more bricks), going to have to try another ammo soon as I'm runnnig low, and can't find it an more.

Good luck - I hope yours shoots as good, or better than mine!

Forgot how bad that nice burris is up close. Swapped to my old 30mm 6-24x 42mm on it and only got to shoot about 30 rounds before the mail ninjas showed up so I leave. Shot ok but not as good as my last savage but rounds down range will tell. Only shot at 25 yards and grouped at 1/4". Your luck you have a store that stocks wold or sk. I order mine.

I really like the Simmons 6.5-20x50 Whitetail Classic scopes for my 22's - they focus to targets under 50 feet to infinity, are clear, and under $125. I've got three, and they have all held up well.
