Anyone?
I even tried calling Savage, but was on hold for over an hour.
I'm looking for the diameter of the non-threaded area just behind the threads from the muzzle.
I want to say it's .845, but I am unsure.
Thanks in advance!

why dont you take some dial calipers and measure it?
I don't have the rifle yet as it is still in its 10-day hold for California. I'm having Ross make a muzzle brake for me to "lip" over the barrel.Originally Posted by stangfish
Well, I ended up calling some nearby shops that had the same model I bought and had them measure it for me.
For those who care, it's .758.
Good deal. Post a pic when its finished.
Got my Ross Schuler muzzle brake yesterday. I haven't timed it yet, but thought I'd screw it on for a quick pic. The muzzle diameter I stated in an above post is spot on (.758).
Anyways, here she is:
Looks great , I got mine for my 10fp in .308 and it measured .842 That ross Schuler does great work.
Thanks! And yes, Ross does great work.Originally Posted by snowpro440
