Based off of that information all I can tell you is it should have been a SA with an accutrigger and a Stagger-feed mag box originally. The stampings you speak of should be "operator stamps" put on by Savage during the manufacturing process for their own quality control checks. Other than that I can't tell you much. You could run the serial number through the Savage Parts finder, but don't always put a lot of faith in it. It has worked on the couple of mine that I have tried, but others report incorrect model or calibers showing up when they have run their number through.
