Looks good, I have been thinking of doing that if I ever run across a second wrench.
Should work just fine.
Ok. I finally had some time to tinker and play w the cutoff wheels to modify my wrench to use with my scope on the rifle since i use dnz mounts which are one piece. Let me know what u think.
Now this is not for removing the factory gorilla tight nuts. This is strictly for snugging down the barrels nut of ur own since they just need a rapping to set them.

Nice touch!
Friend of mine did exactly the same thing, and its even worked with removing factory barrels as long as you use a penetrating fluid and give it some time to do its job.
Cheers...

I finally got to test it out and it worked like a charm. A few sharp raps on the far end protected by a piece of leather loosened the nut and i unscrewed the scoped action as a whole from the barrel. And i didnt even scratch my leupold (knock on wood). I left the neoprene cover on just to be safe. Now i gotta modify the other side for the flat grooved barrel nuts.
