Just wondering if the accustock is worth the extra $$?

No
I'm a firm believer in the theory that if it bleeds, I can kill it.
Funny! How many have you had?Originally Posted by darkker
I have 16FCSS in .223 Remington and the accustock, properly torqued, is quite good, even with the sporter barrel. Mediocre 100 yard groups with torque less than 30 lb/in, then MOA at 30 in/lb and, more often than not, sub Half-Minute of Angle at about 40 in/lb. You could bed your own and perhaps do better, I suppose, but the Accustock is a decent option. It's rigid at the action, it's relatively light weight, and unlikely to weather or wear much. The accustock may not be "the best" but it is effective.
Yes
Thanks guys I did a search and found lots of conflicting and very different opinions.
Lets just say that I bought it anyway.
I came across a good deal on a 10FCP K in .223 that I didn't pass up. I will get it to the range this weekend and try it out. I will post some pics and a review afterward.
