In a previous post I asked you guys what upgrades should be done to my new to me 10FCP Choate savage in .308. I had him shorten the barrel to 24", thread, recrown, and install a Mickulek brake. Also had a NSS oversized ground recoil lug installed and had the action bedded. I know the Choate A5 has a bedding block but figured alittle more surface area couldn't hurt. I mainly wanted the brake installed but since it was there the rest couldn't hurt. The rifle seemed to shoot 2 separate groups before with all rounds under an inch. Hoping the bedding and recoil lug would help this. Also I read on this forum that someone else thought that their crown wasn't finished. I looked at mine and couldn't see any trace of a crown.

Anyway I got it back and the new scope on it just prior to a Pdog hunt and though I'd post a couple pics. Haven't had a chance to shoot groups yet but sighted it in on a couple dogs. Should have some group pics this weekend.
