Thanks! I think I can do better if I change that 4lbs pull original factory trigger, this is not accutriger, just the one you get on 111 or Stevens models and its original synthetic stock, which is bedded to support heavy barrel, but everything has its limits...

I think my 6BR like Bergers more, I only tried 95 gr target VLD, but it likes them more then 105 A-Max or 105 Barnes Match Burners, here is 95 gr VLD @ 100 yards.

I believe the quality, reliability and consistency of the Criterion has been well established with the posts on these 19 pages.

What kind of powder scale are you using? I'm guessing something that's plus/minus .1 grain? If you have about $300 to spend, you could tighten the vertical of that group even more with a Denver Instruments MXX-123 (no longer made because they're now under the Acculab label), an Acculab VIC-123 (Same specs as the old Denver Instruments MXX-123 but now called the Acculab Sartorius by Sinclair Intl). Accuracy to .02 grains (the weight of a single granule of Varget). I throw out all the different names because you might find old product reviews under any of those labels.

There's a lot that goes into reloading, but going to a scale with this .02 grain accuracy made the biggest difference for me... and of course, the Criterion barrel.

Unfortunately, I don't have money to throw around, and coming up with $300.00 to me is a big investment. Sometimes even coming up with $20 bucks is an adventure.

Another scale to look at that also measures to .o2 grains is the My weigh gem pro 250. Personally the one I bought was messed up when I took it out of the box, but others on 6BR are having good results with it. It can be had for around 160 bucks.

***By the way, since I posted about this scale I received my replacement gem pro and it performed just like the first one did, so I am cutting my losses. Maybe, you get what you pay for with this scale.***

Jim, I figured that you would be feeling pretty good after that huge rush on barrels the other day. I can't wait to get the 22-250 AI by the way...

I just put my new 26" criterion on my old Savage 110 in .300 win mag. Doing load testing now and shot this one today, 1.22 @ 200 meters with 220 SMK and 65 grains RL17 yielding a very consistent 2868fps. I am very happy with the performance so far. Thanks Jim!

Ordered my second Criterion barrel in 7mm/08. It gets here tomorrow so I'll be testing loads by the weekend.

I have a feeling the Criterion in 7-08 is going to shoot. Ordered a 6.5x55 in a Shilen over two weeks ago and I hope it gets here before the weekend too.

I was told 3-4 months until they got their new 6.5x55 reamer and they were right on the money. I just got back from shooting it today. The barrel is beautiful. The chamber is nice and tight also. I expect the brass to last for a while. I can hang the 140's way out there and touch the lands if I want, but I've got them .010 off the lands. Still working on loads. Very happy with both Jim and Criterion. The folks at Criterion are very helpful and knowledgeable on the phone if you have any questions. Also, they can thread the muzzle for $75 and they did a great job on mine.

I received another Criterion in 7mm/08 Thursday. Installed it yesterday on a 110 long action and will test loads today with the 150gr SMK and 120gr Nosler BT.

I just joined club Criterion. I picked up the 6.5x47 Lapua barrel and package that was in the classified recently. All I can say so far is WOW! This is one of the best machined barrels I have ever seen.
I was so giddy when it came the other day that I immediately unpacked everything, pulled out my Savage 10 action, and installed and headspaced the barrel. I just couldn't wait.
Now I just have to figure out when I have the time to shoot it...

what is the threading dimensions of the pre-fit barrels? will any of them fit the Nesika Model K action? I'm interested in matching this action to a 6.5 Creedmoor Criterion barrel.
