If you haven't turned on the news yet this morning there was a mass shooting in Las Vegas last night with 50+ being reported dead and more than 400 wounded. Seems the gunman was an older fellow (64) with full auto weapons shooting into a large crowd gathered across the way for a music festival from the 32nd floor of the Mandala Bay Casino. My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families during this terrible time.

One can't help but wonder what goes through someones head to make them do such a thing as this. After events such as these the pundits and talking heads on tv all try to make sense of it, try to find some kind of reason this person snapped and went off the deep end, but in reality more often than not there is never a definitive answer to that question.

And this is why we can't talk about stuff like this on this site - someone always has to immediately make it political. How about acting like a decent human being for 5 seconds and actually show some compassion for those who were killed or wounded?

Sad day. I guess the only answer sometimes as to why is "he could and he wanted too". According to Fox News he had 10 "long range" rifles in his room. How does one do that without drawing suspicion?

How does one do that without drawing suspicion? It's hard to grasp why someone would do that. I guess I should be thankful that i can't, if that makes any sense.

Talk to any teenager and they'll tell you how to sneak anything imaginable into most any area. In this case, there are gun cases specifically designed to look like normal luggage. Heck, there are gun cases designed to look like tennis racket cases, date books, etc. As one commentator on Fox News noted, they could have been hidden in a golf bag, or brought in in pieces over time since he had been in the room since Sept. 28th. Latest I've heard is that several of the weapons were AR-15's that had been converted to full auto, so those could have easily been broken down into components and brought up in small bags and reassembled in the room.

One performer that they were interviewing who also lives in LV noted that those rooms at the Mandalay Bay would have had to of been booked several weeks if not months in advance which lends more credence to it being a premeditated act.

It's going to be hard to know anything about motive until they get done with the forensics on his electronics, and even then we might not get any answers.

I think I read the actor killed himself afterwards. It's too bad, this world has enough misery without people doing things like that.

Well ultimately we will know much more than we do at this point, and those facts will no doubt be very disturbing.
For sure there is very rough weather ahead for the 2nd amendment.
I have to admit it's hard not to be shaken to the core by the sound of that gunfire if created by a single shooter.
It appears that freedom could be under attack on numerous fronts.

Enough time has passed that I can say this with certainty......

If you think this was not a deep state inside job, you need your head examined.

The whole thing reeks of conspiracy and cover-up.

This will go down in history as something akin to the Kennedy assassination or 9-11.

Back at you.

Perpetrated by the kind of guy who thinks there are deep state conspiracies.

The only conspiracy/cover-up is the LVPD and FBI keeping it out of the news because the city will lose big $$ from lost tourism if it's in the headlines every day.

So......
I'm guessing you all buy the mainstream media's story at face value.

So that means you believe Oswald acted alone...

You believe WTC building 7 fell to the ground as the result of a roof fire.....

You probably believe that the US Navy was attacked in the Gulf of Tonkin.

You think this yay-hoo in Vegas was a lone nut, because that's what the powers that be want you to believe, and they're using the media to feed you the information you need to form the opinion that they want you to have.

Quit getting your information from sources that continually get caught in lie after lie after lie. Do your own research. You'll be shocked at what you'll learn if you do.

Then cite your sources and make us believe your news outlets are reliable.

Otherwise, you sound like your tinfoil hat is too tight.

Otherwise, you sound like your tinfoil hat is too tight.I don't need to "make you believe" anything. Not my job, and obviously there are plenty others already working hard at that. If you read my previous statement again, you'll see that it plainly says to "DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH"..... I'm not saying you should rely on mine, or anybody elses. DO YOUR OWN..... The facts are out there, you just unfortunately have to go digging for them. I do my own digging on matters that concern me. This Vegas incident intrigued me from day one, and I was not satisfied that I was getting the whole story from the mainstream media. So I began digging. And some of what I've learned since then is very disturbing. I'm not running a conspiracy website or anything. I'm just saying the story is not adding up and never has. You think my tinfoil hat is too tight?? I think your brain is too mushy. If you buy the mainstream media's version of this particular story, you are being misled, and worse still, YOU are complicit in your own misleading since you are too naive to question the media and/or expect others to provide you your information. Stop expecting other people to spoonfeed you their talking points and then calling yourself informed. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH.

You're entitled to believe whatever you want to believe, that's your right, but don't come on here attacking others just because they don't agree with you. Keep that up and you'll find yourself locked out in short order.

Interesting guy, a congressman, on Tucker Carlson last night. He said last June ISIS said they were going to target Las Vegas . After the incident they claimed they were responsible. He said he has inside info and "this needs to be investigated". Wonder how many conspiracy theories this will generate?

I have no Idea if it was planned by the cancer that infects our government better known as progressivism but I do know there are ranks that will go to any extent to accomplish their goal of disarming Americans. This DANGEROUS new world order mentality, the idea of one power governing the whole world is a dangerous one and has been tried by many madmen before such as Hitler. I guess what I'm saying is while I have no proof the attack was planned by people in our government that want to dismantle the constitution ( and don't think for a second that there aren't those in our government that are trying to do that) it would not surprise me one bit if we found that this and most mass shootings were just part of the left's sinister plans to destroy the 2nd amendment and all the others.
