100yards, 2 shots left I moved the turrets cause I couldn't believe it shot that good.

They could say it, but they would be wrong.

I have an axis that does .4 moa at 600 yards. They are accurate

First, great shooting! Second, I've yet to see an explanation of why the Axis would be inferior to the 110 in terms of accuracy. There might be one out there, but I haven't been able to come up with it myself. There are a few design aspects of the Axis that I think are suspect, but nothing jumps out at me as being fatally and unambiguously detrimental to accuracy.

The axis action appears stronger as it resembles the target action. My axis has consistently been as good or better than 12fv

What model/caliber? What is your load?

Nice shooting. I would never say that. I have an Axis XP II in 243 Win. that shoots groups that can be covered with an aspirin tablet. Does this with Winchester VarmintX 58 grainers and my 70 grain Nosler ballistic tip handloads. Busting milk jugs at 500 yards is almost boring. Couldn't be more pleased with my Axis!

who says an axis isnt accurate.!Any snob who thinks that if you buy a budget priced gun it's a piece of crap. You hear it all the time. There are folks who think they can buy their way into shooting better. We all know it's time behind the gun that makes you better. Sure dropping a bajillion dollars on a gun will get you some nice hardware but if you don't put in the trigger time it's useless.

Also, great shooting there.

Mine hasn't failed me yet. GREAT entry level rifle at a good price.

Would the posters of #3 & 8 please post pictures of these incredible groups, because I am totally jealous.
I shoot a $3500.00 Savage ( stock bases &rings, action and barrel, optics) I shoot usually twice a week, reload with all quality components taking my time ensuring everything is measured and weighed to exacting numbers and I can't come close to your results. I would love to pick your brains to see what I do wrong.

they are just as accurate as any other gun, only more fun because of the price. i have an 7/08 that's my favorite for plinking and general shooting because it's so light compared to my others and shoots great.

My hat is off to you Bowhunter, you are shooting groups at 400 like my bench gun does for 5 at 100.
I guess I will stop building target guns and just buy Savage Axis heavy barrels for a lot less money, $400 vs. $3500, I could of had nine for the price of one.
