Mine's bedded.

Mine also took a lot longer than normal because it is a left handed J action with the detachable magazine, pushbutton that goes through the side of the stock. Fred had to do a bunch of hand work to get it fitted.

I just called today and they were saying 10 week. That's too long as it is - 18 weeks is crazy! Not sure I can wait that long but I might as well put an order in now in case I can't find anything else for my fcp-k...

Crap, I was really hoping this time some one would actually make their time estimate. I was told 10-12 when I ordered in Mar. 12 weeks just passed. From every thing I have heard this one will be worth the wait!

I forget the ladie's name, but I placed my order yesterday and asked about the wait and the 17-18 week claims. She couldn't explain the 18 week stuff, but she did say they were turning down ALL gunsmithing orders through june and July. This is GOOD NEWS for those of us that are waiting on stocks!!! She said that gunsmithing has been taking up a good bit of Fred's time as it was, but what really got him behind was that a guy would put in an order fore something like some action work, but would end up adding on, and on, and on, to the point that it became a full custom build.
For a one man show, the wait isn't bad, and I have heard nothing but praise as far as quality goes. She still estimated 10-11 weeks for me.
I got the LVT with adjustable comb, butthook, and accessory rail for my Savage FCP-k. Can't wait. But in the meantime, I also ordered a Choate tactical custom stock to tide me over...I have two FCP-k's so I'll put'em both to good use.

Ordered mine on 2/1 with a quoted delivery of "at least 8 weeks". They didn't lie it's now 19 weeks and counting. Buyer beware!

Here is a picture of mine. I've had it for three years. Very nice stock and looks better in real than in the picture.

Buyer beware!

Hey, welcome to the forum. Nice to see you started off on a good note ::)

And "buyer beware" ???....Sounds like you should just cancel the order. Ill tell you that waiting for the stock will be forgotten once you have it in your hands and see the quality of their work.
