What did the vacuum chamber do? I am not familiar with what this does for a stock.

It seals the stock. By sucking out the air, and sucking in the sealer.

Seams to be a lot of sucking going on with that stock. I could have saved you a bunch of time and sold you a nice custom green painted Duramax stock with a bunch of lead in it.

How old of a proto type?
Brand new, not even released yet. You could call it a test action.

Do you like all of the improvements,
Yup,
The bolt release seems to be a lot of extra work.
Do you know if this is to change the design 10% or more ,for patent reasons
Nope, the bolt release just makes sence if your e benchrest shooter, it makes removing the bolt MUCH easier, In my opionion ALL Savages should have this modification. It just is a far better way to do things. Also with this modification it made room to install a Kelbly style "Static" ejector.

My conscience is getting the best of me, the action work was done by Sharp Shooters Supply.

What kind of sealant did you use in the vacuum chamber , and how much vacuum do you apply to the chamber.
