1 piece mount for Trail Hunter?

Picked up my new Trail Hunter in 6.5 Creedmore the other day, but my scope tube is too short to use the existing mounts spacing.

    Need a 1 piece rail - recommendations?

Any of the round back short action bases should work right?

If you want to use a 2 piece the there are a couple of brands with offset bases that would probably work. I've heard good things about the one piece DNZ as well but never used one. Several Savage rifles have come from the factory over the years with the EGW picatinny rail but I'm not a fan. In my opinion they're too thick and set the scope up too high. Some people love them.
    Yes, round short action.
A good wife and a steady job has ruined many a great hunter.

I have a .400 Legend in the Savage Model 110 Trail Hunter and have the one piece DNZ on it. Works well with the smaller Zeiss Conquest I have on it. Put it on a couple of months ago.
