Just wondering if these rounds are a std small barrel shank, got a bud itching to do a build on switch barrel combo with these 2 rounds.

The 6.5 PRC is going to be a large shank. I am not certain about the 300 PRC but I think it may depend on the reciever.
I am sorry, I may have mispoke.

As Robinhood stated, it all depends on the receiver , does your bud already have the rifle in either the 6.5 or 300 PRC ?? Or does he plan to buy a new rifle in either Cal. and add the second barrel ?
just do the "search" thing on the difference between Lg. and small barrel nuts.

All PRC's are on a large shank.
