    94' 110FP Adjustable Trigger Questions

I removed the trigger assembly & later found a spring in the floor. I have read that some models did use a spring inside, I haven't seen one in any parts diagrams. It doesn't look like it has any flat wear marks from being used. I have not had anything else out that would use a spring like this, so it's mystery to me.

I would also like to know what triggers I can use on this .308 that would be capable of a light pull weight & be safe from slam fire or accidental discharge. The Accu-trigger is the only one that I know of that will prevent the sear from releasing the firing pin.

    Thank you!

As for the spring location, I'm not sure.. I can pull my 110L out of its stock later today to see if mine is the same trigger setup.

The RifleBasix sav-1 trigger is capable of around a 1lb trigger pull and is safe, given that it is adjusted properly.

My Accutrigger actually has 4 springs. 2 on the trigger, one on the trigger and one on the Accutrigger blade. The sear spring and then one that looks like that inside the trigger hanger.

This is before the Accu-Trigger, so it's totally different.

I'd like to have one that blocks the sear.

Trad Archer, I received your private message last week concerning your trigger....I know of no aftermarket triggers available that block the sear like the factory Accutrigger, Because you have a pre-Accutrigger variant, I would look at the typical aftermarket solutions from Rifle Basix (Sav-2), Elf, or Jard, depending on how low you want the trigger pull weight. I believe your rifle has the 3 position safety. My much older long action 110FP .223 had an adjustable conventional factory trigger, but not completely identical to yours. Hope this helps.
