The Axis and the 110 are different animals when it comes to stocks. Just because they use the same magazine is no indication the stocks will fit.
Having enjoyed my first Savage, an Axis II 223 with the "Predator" profile (.720 muzzle), I was shopping for an Axis heavy barrel so I could use the same magazines with the factory stocks, and share my recently purchased MDT LSS Gen 2 between the two. The Savage website lists the Axis II XP SR HB (sku 22133) which looks perfect, and GunDeals listed several stores that have them in stock. Unfortunately, as I learned through speaking with three of the retailers, it is not in stock anywhere. (Lipseys had not updated their inventory status so the data feed showed them in stock. Also Inventory feeds no longer update Gunbroker listings.)
The Savage web site listed that the Axis II 223 magazine also works in the 110 Trail Hunter, which uses the Hogue Overmolded stock. From the perspective of a replacement stock (ie the MDT LSS), is this compatible with the 110 or Axis stocks?

Thanks for the help.

"As long as there's lead in the air....there's still hope.."
Correct. Even though they share the same barrel mount and magazine the Actions are not the same. If they were the same the stock manufacturers would not have separate listings for them.
