AICS bottom metal kit

Ordered this kit from EABCO. Screws are to long. Was told to contact accurate mag as this is where they got it from. Contacted them. Was told I need to cut the screws for proper size. To long currently. Anyone that ordered this kit have to cut the screws to fit? Thanks.

Does it fit correct in the inlet in your stock- and when being held in place position the mag in the correct location to feed? If it does then shortening the screws is an easy fix. Or run to the hardware store and pick up some new shorter ones.

I used this bottom metal once but it's been years.... had some small issues getting things right-- but think it was more with the inlet issue, the trigger guard would not sit in a position that it would match up with the magwell- but may of shortened the bolts also.

I understand your frustration! Spend $??? and then have to re-engineer it. Shortening the screws is no biggie, but it is the principle. I got a single shot sled for my AICS and it still needs more work to feed properly.

If it would have been listed on the web site as possibly needing to do this I would have been ok with it but being blind sided like this irks me. Just need to find a nut to put on the help debur after I cut it. Thanks for the replies.

Tried twice to install this kit. The screws are so tight I am afraid of stripping the threads. Put the original bottom metal back on without any issues. Is there other kits out there for AICS mags or just one kit?
