    Burris customer service


    I’ve always been a fan of Burris scopes on my handguns and I’ve got several for rifles as well. I recently sent a 3-12 handgun scope to their Greeley, CO facility for a check-up and it was returned to me within 2 weeks of them receiving it. Even the expense of shipping both ways was taken care of by them. Can’t ask for anything better than that. With the demise of several other handgun scope makers, I sure hope Burris continues.

    I had the same experience with Burris. I either traded for a LER scope or it was on a firearm I purchased, but it had a problem. While looking for contact info, I stumbled onto warranty info and sent it in. They returned it, no charge and no questions asked. Who does that anymore?!

    Lots of them.... Vortex made the industry change how it did business when they came in with their warranty program.

    I have sent several scopes back to them on occasion and everyone was taken care of promptly. Emailed them once about a problem I was having with some rimfire rings and they sent me out a new set of side clamps, received them a few days later.
    I too hope they stay around and keep the handgun scopes available.

    Vortex would not be in business if it was not for their warranty.

    Excellant service , Fast, sent a 2-6 variable hand gun scope in , no Idea of age back in 2 weeks. the variable power ring was frozen.

    The Burris Forever warranty and customer service was top notch before anybody even thought about warranting "Chinese contract optics".
    A good wife and a steady job has ruined many a great hunter.

    I will openly admit to not being a fan of burris scopes... or maybe more accurately- not a fan of the burris company (have been hosed over by them 1 time to many) but likewise am not a fan of Vortex scopes below the Razor lines. But that being said- anyone who thinks that Burris warranty service is even close to the same as Vortex is greatly mistaken. Their "forever warranty" is for what they consider the life of the product... and some of the products have a very short life expectancy. If you do not buy the product from them or an authorized seller it is not covered-- sometimes they will fix it and other times they will not- just depends on how the service guy is feeling that day.

    I purchased a scope from them that had a huge defect inside the lenses- that obviously came that way from the factory. They wanted me to pay to ship it to them- and they would not budge on sending a shipping label even though I had the receipt that showed the scope was purchased 2 hrs earlier. They also had a bad reputation for replacing broken products with a new lower end one.

    It is great if they are upping their game and doing better--

    Also- burris is offering chinese optics.
