Question Savage 110 Apex Hunter feeding problem/stock swap?

We purchased 2 of the new Savage 110 Apex Hunters (30-06, 270 Win). Since buying them, we have had nothing but problems with the factory magazines not feeding properly. Calling Savage several times and trying more than one magazine didn't eliminate the problem. Savage Arms has been no help at all and I'm VERY disappointed with them at this moment.

Is there a way to simply replace the stock with an older style stocks and uses a hinged floor plate? This style has always worked perfectly well.

If so, where would we purchase the needed stock, mag well, spring, floor plate and trigger guard?

I very much would appreciated your valued insight and suggestion to get our rifles working properly.

    Thank you in advance.

Interestingly enough, their magazine housing is the same for all the mag setups. Since you didn't mention what was happening, I cant offer solutions. However, You did mention feeding and you pointed to the magazine. you also mention that it is the same rifle with 2 similar cartridges.

There may be a simple solution. The way I see it is this is not a very common issue or we would hear about it more often.

Are you working the bolt slow or fast?
What is happening to the cartridge that it is not feeding into the chamber? Is it hitting the breech, Above the chamber/below the chamber...or is the rear of the cartridge falling under the bolt?
I am sorry, I may have mispoke.

The subsequent rounds after firing are not being pushed up far enough, or they are pointed in up or down position so as to not be pushed into the chamber by the bolt face.

Even with the mags out of the rifle, pushing across the top of the mag like the bolt face would do, rounds are not popping into proper position to be fed into the chamber. When this occurs, tapping the mag will usually cause the round to be pushed fully up where it should be to be stripped by the bolt face and chambered.

Hopefully, I've described the issue we are having with all the mags we've tried.

Sounds as though the magazines need a feed lip adjustment.

Thats where I was heading. If a random person gives it a try how does it work for them?
