    StarLine 360 Dan Wesson Brass

Well, I put in an order on December 30 2022, for 360 Dan Wesson, Emma from StarLine called tis week to let me know it was coming up, and asked if I still wanted it?

I said I sure do, Even though i don't have a use right now, I know I will.

So anyone with .221 Fireball based case that need a rim or if you just want 360 Dan Wesson, Give them a call.

If you do, also ask about 225 Winchester or 225 Winchester Basic, .30-30 Winchester basic, and .357 Max Basic (1.8 inch long). I was so surprised by the call I forgot.

Hope everyone is doing well. Shoot straight and keep them in the 10 ring.

    Steve, TCS

She didn't say when it would be available, just that she was checking on it. I think they are getting ready and wanted to make sure people on the list still wanted it. If folks need it for a future project it might be worth while putting in an order and it will hopefully receive attention. I have nothing i would use it for, but will get some anyway for a future 300 BLK Out rimmed.

I’m surprised there would be more of a demand for 360 DW than 225 Win. What am I missing?

I've been wondering the same thing. There are tons of JDJ shooters out there, and plenty of bolt rifles in .225 are still in circulation.

I purchased a good supply of 360 DW back when it was readily available about 10 or 12 years back. If someone really needs some, I have a couple hundred I would part with.

Make the 225 a basic case and let the shooter form it. Or someone who is ambitious could set up to anneal and form it on a special order basis, get it to the max overall length and the shooter could fine tune it to their gun.

The 357 max long(1.8 inch length) could probably be done similar to the 223 basic with a different heading die, (not sure what it is called, using artistic license), and BAM we could have rimmed tcu brass.
