I have been shooting the Accutrigger for almost a year. I dialed it down to give me the best trigger action and learned to live with it. My brother came up and we got out our AR's and I had upgraded them with the Jerry Miculek Mossberg JM PRO triggers in the past. I immediately noticed a crispness in response that the accutrigger with the Mcarbo kit just didn't provide. The Mcarbo gave me a much lighter trigger spring, but it just didn't match that feel of the AR.
I decided to break down and ordered the Jard for my Axis Precision. It's a fully self contained unit and very well built. I paid $241 for it delivered to my door which was 2 days UPS. Installation took about 60 seconds. Doing some dry fire testing, the difference exceeded my expectations. I ordered the 12 spring and adjustments can to a couple of oz's +/-. The trigger itself is between a curved and a flat and very comfortable. I've never been a fan of the double action triggers with my handguns or the accutrigger.
I have to say, it's a huge improvement over the Mcarbo upgrade which was a big improvement over stock.
Damn this is an expensive hobby!
That reminds me, I have a Jard Centerfire trigger for a 110 top bolt release that I reviewed laying around here somewhere. Pulled it out of the gun I had it on when I parted it out a few years back. Should probably find it and post it up for sale in the classifieds since I don't foresee myself buying another 110 anytime soon and all my current Savage's either have a tuned up AccuTrigger for hunting or one of Fred's old Competition triggers.

Finally got out and what a difference this trigger has made. My first shot went off before I was ready. I'd done dozens of dry fires, so I thought I had it figured out and then I wasn't. It took me a couple of shots to get the feel of it and then away I went. What I did notice after having finished shooting, was other than the first shot I wasn't ready for, the flyers disappeared. I shot 9 groups of three, and 5 of them were under .5" at 100 yards. The rest were all in the .75 to 1 inch MOA.
My loads were all 60SMK TMK, in range scavenged cases with CCI400 primers and 25GR of CCE223 powder. All cases were 1.75 and a COL of 2.26. Shooting at 100 yards.
Weak point, other than me, is the rear bag. Living in SW Arkansas and rural, there isn't much of selection I can look at in LGS's. It's been trial and error so far. Gonna keep looking and trying new things out.
Tomorrow, my EC Tuner arrives. Looking forward to playing with this!
