Dang...that one has my attention as I'll be needing a straight-walled hunting round at some point. But I also told myself "no new barrel until I part with something I already have" since several are in the same ballistic ballpark and basically duplicate themselves. I'm trying to behave, but I'm not sure how long that will continue LOL...

There is an Encore 16 1/4 inch 338-06 JDJ barrel on the same site.
I have looked at it a few times but have slowed waaaay down on my barrel
    purchases.

Be sure to let us know if you get it! Those blued MGMs are nice.

I had an Encore 13” Max from them that consistently shot an inch group at a hundred yards. I got a 15” Encore last fall but haven’t had time to shoot it much since deer season started shortly after. I’m hoping it eventually settles in using the loads I have together from the previous barrel, but I’ve only been to the range once with it so far.
