PCS mods 350L 300BO

I shoot lefty off the shoulder and want a compact gun to shoot subs with. I like the twist rate of the 300BO but can’t find one and keep hearing about feeding issues. I can get a 350L but don’t really like the 1-16 twist for subs. I may just buy one and see how it does then rebarrel later. What is everyone’s thoughts? This is strictly a 100-150 yard max gun. Maybe 100 yards max if I can find a 300BO.

In contrast my favorite subsonic hunting setup is a TC Encore 16 inch fast twist shooting 45/70 out of a SiCo Hybrid. I cannot describe how quiet this setup is and it hits hard. I wish Savage had offered the PCS in a faster twist like they do the 300BO. Ideally I would love to see a 458 Socom PCS over the 400 or 450.

You can always get the barrel in the caliber and length of your choice and add it onto the PCS. I bought the .223 PCS and made a 15" 20 Practical.

The magazine kind of sucks since allot of slop in front of the bullet. Have had feed issues if I rechamber to fast. Love mine. Shoot Hornady 190 subs at 100 yards very well. Been hoping a 400 legend would come out.
