Anyone have experience with the new line Redfields?

Just wondered if anybody had experience or owned any of the new Redfield scopes? I have a 4x-12x -40. Bought it last year around October. It seems ok but, I know it's probably not like the old ones.

Crystal clear. Seems like good scope. But, who knows? Time will tell.

I believe Leupold gave up on the Redfield brand several years ago already and they are made overseas now.

When Leupold owned them, the Revolution line was assembled in Oregon (legally, like with most Leupold products, they can't say "Made in USA" because they aren't). The Revenge line was imported from the Philippines.

Academy now owns the Redfield brand, and they are produced in China.

The original Revolution line had different coatings than the low-end Leupolds of the time and suited my vision better, as did the slightly bolder reticles. I have not looked closely at the Academy models other that to see where they were made.
