Added weight to my gun

Bought some brass flat bar stock off Amazon and made my own rifle weights. Saw a video on YouTube and decided to give it a try. Total weight added is 24 ounces and it's made quite a difference in recoil.

It's crazy what vendors want for rifle weights. I spent $24 and an hour of time and am very happy with the results.

I've always cast bullets so have a lot of lead and can pour in place or make molds from silicon trays (or just use bullets I don't need anymore). Younger years also had bags of shot around for skeet shooting. Mix shot up with epoxy and fill cavities.

Now watch out for any vertical stringing you never had before. Every rifle likes it's own balance point. Enjoy....

I have done this also. Worked well for my purpose.
