    Savage 1907 interesting marks

I received this .380 from my grandfather a few years back. In the process of restoring it and noticed this 9mm marking on it. Magazines are .380 and .380 is also marked on slide. Just thought it was odd and if anyone knew what is the meaning of it.Click image for larger version.
