EGW scope base for Savage Striker

Anyone know if EGW makes a base with the cutout to clear the ejection port? I see their model numbers for short action bases with flat back 110’s, but all the pictures I see appear to be generic.

Everything EGW makes for Savage 110's is a full rail. The Striker hasn't been in production since 2006 or 07, and given any Savage short-action rail will fit it there's little call for a special rail just for it. If you want one with a cutout for loading clearance you'll have to make the cutout yourself or go with another brand.

Back in the day when I had my Striker, I used a Ken Farrell base on it and didn't have any issues with loading.

Thanks for the info, Jim. I’ve got some B-Square bases but just looking to go a different route this time.

BTW, what was your Striker chambered in? I like the looks of the mix of blued barrel/stainless action, which is what I’ve done with the current Striker I’m working on.

I got an EGW base for one of my Strikers a couple weeks ago and the fit and height are nice. More clearance than the old B-Square bases that I’ve used in the past, which were cut out to allow more clearance loading cartridges and clearing ejected rounds. With the additional height of the EGW, it will not require any material to be milled out. I’m pleased with it. Fit and finish couldn’t have been better, either, which has been typical of the other bases from them that I have.

Started as a .243 but I rebarreled it to a .22-250. Made for a fun groundhog/prairie dog gun.

I have EGW bases on a couple of my 110s, plenty of room for single feeding and ejection. Whatta Hobby!
