Hello, I just joined today. I joined because I am wanting to purchase a new Savage hunting rifle, and I am looking for information and opinions. I also would like to participate in other areas of the forum.
A little info packed background. I recently escaped IL, south suburb of Chicago, to the great state of TN! I am an elevator mechanic by trade, and I do welding and repair on trucks and heavy equipment on the side. My interests also include fishing, boating, former scuba diver, shooting, hunting, cooking, recovering Snap-on addict (only because I have most everything I need, and then a lot more!). I used to own a trucking, excavating, and construction companies back home for just under 20 years. I am also a former professional wedding photographer (family business). In my younger years, I was an auto mechanic, and I worked for and Oldsmobile dealer. I have a wife and three children, and love being a dad.
