Try winchester supreme ammo and see really good results.
Went to my local Bass Pro over the weekend and acquired a 1960's Mossberg 640ka "Chuckster". It was still wearing the (I'm assuming) factory Weaver 3-6x scope. Unfortunately, the scope did not fully adjust for magnification, it stopped just short of the 5x. I bought and attached a Simmons 22 mag 3-9x32 scope to replace it with.
The gun came with two 5-round detachable mags. It looks good, functions well so far (haven't fired it yet). I can't find a whole lot of information on these things, anyone have an experience with them?
Also, this will be used for target and small game within 150 yds.
Thanks!

Willing to give back for what the sport has done for me!
I've had it out a few times now, I love this thing! The trigger is a bit heavy, around 5 lbs. Not too bad, but definitely took some getting used to. I bore sighted it at 50 yds and walked it out to 100 shooting 1 inch groups the whole way with 40 gr CCI small game hollow points. It's an absolute blast to shoot.
I find this rifle to be more fun than my b17F in .17 hmr, which is kinda weird for me. It shoots better too!
The wife enjoys shooting it as well, probably more than I do.
