Looks like it would be lined up once you go to cock it?
One thing I do notice is you have an accutrigger mounted to a pre accutrigger hanger… can’t remember if it matters or not. Just something I noticed.
Hello,
I recently picked up a used Savage 11 with accutrigger. My problem is that the sear would not hold and would also do the same when the safety was pushed off safe. I took everything apart and cleaned it, but I have done something wrong. Now the leg of the sear does not line up with the cut in the trigger. I left the blade and springs off, so it would be easy to see and to show this wasn't the problem. What have I done wrong in my reassembly to make this happen?

You were right. It works now. I must be going crazy Is there a problem when switching between trigger types?
Yes, it does.
If you have the wrong hanger, the safety is an issue. The safety, pre accutrigger had a part that looks like a barbell and the safety slide has a piece of spring steel screwed to it that acts like a detent for the three positions. The accutrigger uses a spring rather than the barbell. Yours has the correct spring. I cant see your safety switch but if it functions correctly you are cooking with gas.
I am sorry, I may have mispoke.
That trigger bracket is a transitional bracket. If you will notice there are 2 holes in the bracket to accept the old style and the new style of safety. Savage used these when the accutrigger first came out.(2003) In 2004, the bracket was changed to what is current. I have no idea why the change, because the transitional bracket works on both. At the time the Stevens 200 came out, they used up all the obsoleted parts.
