    PCS vs Striker

How does the PCS compare to the Striker? Handling, accuracy, trigger, adjustability of trigger? I am building a scout rifle but keep looking at the PCS and thinking it might work for me. I am sure it will shoot like a rifle off a solid rest but how about just a sand bag on a limb? Or bipod off a hood or table? Is the 223 controllable enough to use a short eye relief scope, or do you need a brake?

Never owned a striker. My PCS is in 300 BO. Have a bipod and 1-8 scope with a red dot on top. My sandman s is attached. The 1-8 is for subs at 100 yards. The red dot is for 110 v max at 50 yards. Very little lift when shooting off the bipod with supers. Savage did a good job building this pistol. Can rechamber without moving off the scope. Considering another one.

Choose which looks less ugly for your taste. I had two strikers and kept the one with a good factory trigger, it's .223 and it shoots in a 4" target at 200yrds, cheap 55gr factory ammo, bipod and grip bag.

But those old guns are just that. The new pistol frames are curious to me, have a good trigger, newer design, etc. I use a rifle scope 3 x 9 on a rail on the striker, plenty of room.

But just chose a 110 trail hunter .223 last week.
