Two Questions About Format/Editing

Questions: is there a way to edit the Title of a new thread, and how do I get rid of this pesky black/pink display box that floats while typing a post?

I've never seen the pesky, floating text box you refer to and can't edit a topic title except with moderator tools.

I'm unaware of and floating box also. Phone? Computer? Notebook?

I think it is is a setting I did not enable myself. Trying to go to settings and disable. It happens only on this website oddly. It just started a week ago.

No clue what that pesky black and pink box would be - never seen anything of the sort on here.

As for editing the title of a thread, you should be able to do that by doing the following:

1. Go into the thread
2. Click on "Edit Post" at the bottom of the very first post of the thread (has to be a thread you started)
3. Clock on "Go Advanced" at the bottom of the edit box
4. You should now see the field boxes of both the title and the thread content - both of which you can then edit.
