Impulse rifles ?

How are these rifles holding up? Anyone with a thousand rounds shot and no issues? Am considering one in the near future if there are no big issues.

I can only reply about the Impulse Predator model.
It's a great rifle and I liked it so much I bought another to use as a backup predator rig.
I've customized and put a lot of rounds through each rifle, but I did a lot of testing with the first rifle in four different calibers and never had an issue.

I have the predator model in 243. The only issue that I've had is when I ran the bolt fast it wouldn't pick up the next round. Sand the edges of the follower and tweaked the mag feed lips, and it now runs flawlessly.

Thanks for the replies. Sounds like savage is using there POS proprietary magazine. My FCP in 308 does the same thing so have to slow down chambering the next round. Thought AICS magazines were being used in all newer bolt action rifles made in the past few years.

Contrary to popular belief AI pattern magazines need to be adjusted and sometimes cleaned & lubed to feed cartridges reliably.
AI pattern magazines are the best, but they still need to be maintained.
Savage should've made all of the Impulse models use AICS magazines, not just the Predator and Elite precision models.
