Savage 1915 .380 dissasembly issues...

I had tried most of the suggestions from individuals that were on this site. I could not open a video that may have explained my issue of not being able to rotate the bolt assembly. I can not get the slide back any further then the safety set and can only rotate it a few degrees. This is a 1915 in .380 and is number 1,055 of that years production run. I am apprehensive to force anything seeing it looks so easy with other models. Any help??? Thanks

Welcome to the forum DK56. I sometimes resort to pressing the front of the slide against the edge of my wood bench [don't do this at the dining table] to enable me to push the slide far back enough to rotate the breech plug. They can be challenging.
You should be able to find a YouTube on these pistols, there are several out there. Numrich has a good exploded view in their parts list.
