Recently rebarreled an AccuStock Savage 110 Storm (long action, 270 Winchester) & the new barrel has a slightly larger profile, preventing the barrel channel in the oem AccuStock from fully free-floating.
I’m sure I’m not the only person who’s run into this issue. What are people doing to fix this? I could remove material, but the design doesn’t leave much material in the area which needs to be removed. I thought perhaps ordering an AccuStock from a 300 or 338 WinMag may fix this, but in reaching out to Savage they (strangely) don’t sell the AccuStock individually; and I’m not 100% sure that a stock made for a magnum would bolt up? Alternatively, I could look for a used magnum profile or varmint profile used AccuFit stock? Though I fear the latter may have too large a barrel channel and look silly.
Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks for the swift response. Those are all marked as top bolt release, I have bottom. Looks like those are all "Will accept Varmint or smaller barrel" so Varmint profile. I guess I need to look at barrel profiles to see how much larger that is.
A bottom bolt release action can be made to fit with a little clearance in the trigger guard area.
How much bigger is the new contour barrel? If it's not much you could probably open up your existing stock so it fits. An appropriate sized wooden dowel wrapped with sand paper will do the trick as the plastic is soft and cuts fast. I've done this on a few stocks over the years. Just sand a little and check the fit frequently so you don't take off more than you need to.
