Budsgunshop has the Impulse Predator in 6.5 Creedmoor for $900.72. It came to $965 with Utah tax and shipping to my local gun store. With their $20 transfer fee i was $985 out the door 😃

    Savage Inpulse Brass Catcher

I've got the feeding and ejection issues worked out. Working the bolt fast was ejecting my Lapua brass all over the place which can be an issue hunting/standing in water and tall grass. By using a cantilever AR mount, I was able to mount a Cadwell brass catcher and I can turn the mount backwards so my Pulsar Thermion 2 Pro will work with the brass catcher as well. I need to find a manufacture that makes extra high 30mm rings (must be 1.5" high) which will give enough clearance to allow for the brass to be mounted under the body of the scope on my Savage Model 12 and 700 rifles too.

I ordered an X-caliber Carbon Fiber Barrel in 22 Creedmoor with 8T and I also order a Solus action which takes Savage small shank barrels.

    Nice rig.
I use this brand brass catcher as I've had brass melt through the mesh of the caldwell.
Both brand brass catchers are better suited for left hand bolt manipulation.

I've been using Caldwell for over 5 years and even done a mag dump from an AR 10 in 243 with no issues at all. However, this one is new and I will definitely be on the look out to see if they changed the quality of material.

The Tac mount is very low profile and hardly sticks above the pict rail when installed, so no issues with ring or scope clearance.
    Also folds flat for travel.

Any pics on a bolt gun? Can you slide/adjust the female end any position on the catcher?

Took a chance with your recommendation and works great. Here are some pics for others that maybe looking for something similar.

Glad it worked out for you.
Most brass catchers are better suited for semi auto's and left handed shooters with a right port receiver.

Been keeping an eye on this rifle. Sucks only a 20 inch barrel. Who has one in 308? If I get one, will be a 308. My FCP with a 24 inch barrel is dead nuts accurate with 200 gr ELD-X. Just the magazine system sucks bad. It’s either change out the chassis or buy another rifle.
