Long Action Magazines

Forgive me if this has been covered, my search skills leave a little.
Here’s my situation…I bought a Savage 110 in -06…LA, top bolt release, blind magazine (BROKEN) Then I rebarreled it to 6.5 PRC. Now I bought a Boyd’s stock for it with a DBM. The stock accepts Savage magazines. The problem is I can’t find a LA magazine that will hold the 300WSM/6.5 PRC cartridge. I’m hoping the collective expertise on this sight might point me in the right direction and not laugh too hard. TIA for all suggestions.

300 WSM and 6,5 PRC are short action calbers.

A LA Magnum Mag will likely work, but you’ll likely have to load slow for care of feeding.

Absolutely. Any magazine can be. It simply rests on one’s fabrication skills. Fabricating a block for cartridge length, capacity, reshaping the follower & bending the feed lips.

Minimally informed speculation:
The (grand-) parent case for the 6.5 PRC is the 375 Ruger. Maybe start there?

Savage uses the same magazine for 375 Ruger & 300 WinMag.
