    Stock spacing

Iím not understanding where the spacing is coming from (the number) 4.27 or 4.4? How do you get this or figure it out. Is it for long action or short action? I have a 110 tactical, which would this be?

You measure the centerline on the action screws!

Iím thinking the questions you will need to answer first is: action screw spacing, center feed or stagger feed, blind mag or detachable mag, barrel diameter, accutrigger or pre accutrigger.
When you have those answers then you should be able to navigate any of the manufacturers web sites to make your selection. Iím sure I missed something but canít think of it this early.

The short actions have about three spacings. The long action has one spacing but depending on if it is stagger or center fed(the way the magazine delivers the cartridge for the bolt to strip the round) is a different inlet for the magazine. Also, stock wise, the other thing to consider top or bottom bolt release.
