Called Savage today and after listening for 10 minutes how great Savage is while waiting for customer service, the man I talked to said they had NO info on anything made before 1995. He suggested I buy a new Savage rifle to fit my needs. Going to look around and see what I can find. At Remington, Winchester, Ruger, perhaps the AK makers. A company that has been around for this long has no records of anything before 1995, yeah, right.
