Well mine stabilizes 77gr MK's from my handloads out to 1000 yards. Not saying it won't go sideways but all bullets have cut nice round holes so far.

Remember that weight really doesn't mean poop. Bullet LENGTH is what you worry about with stabilization. The 77gr SMK & kissin-cousin, the Nosler CC are quite notably shorter than the 75gr V-Max.
I've long been shooting the 77's through many 9-twist rifles, beyond 1100.
Also remember that it is completely "Normal" for any manufacturer to be "off" on their ACTUAL twist from stated; by a half a turn.
So the answer is it depends upon your barrel.

Use that link to look up the lengths, then put in the specifics for your conditions. As bullet velocity decays, rapidly; the rotational decay will happen VERY slowly, relatively speaking. So as the bullet travels it will actually gain in stability.
