The new Stance line features 14 unique SKU's that consist of three model variants, two iron sight options, an integrated laser option, and three different frame color options.
Frame color choices consist of black, gray of flat dark earth (FDE).
The two iron sight options available consist of a standard 3-dot sight arrangement as well as a TRUGLO night sight option. Models with the integrated laser are available with both iron sight options, but frame color for laser models is limited to black only.

Per Savage's press kit, they state that: "Stance® refines the micro-nine into a thin, easily concealable pistol that is built to be both functional in the hand as it is easy to conceal. With its aggressive surface textures, advanced slide serrations and ergonomic grip, Stance is designed to be comfortable when holstered and formidable when it needs to be."

It's clear that Savage Arms has put a strong focus on branching into new areas of the firearms market in recent years. First it was their entry
That just begs the question: Where will Savage go next?
into the shotgun market with the Stevens line of shotguns and most recently the Savage Renegauge semi-auto shotgun line. After that we saw them enter
into the modern sporting rifle market with their own line of AR-10 and AR-15 style rifles making up the MSR Series. Last year they made a strong push to get a bigger piece of the pie in the European market with the introduction of the new straight-pull Impulse Series of bolt-action rifles. And now we have the Stance, Savage's hopes of breaking into the concealed carry and personal defensive handgun market.That just begs the question: Where will Savage go next?
