• Rimfire Rotary Magazine Loading Technique (video)

    The other day a visitor to our forum mentioned he was having issues loading the rotary magazine for his new B-Series rimfire rifle. This topic has come up a few times before so I decided to throw together a quick video showing the technique I use to load the new rotary rimfire magazines.

    The "trick" to these magazines is getting the first round loaded into the mag due to that little flag or tab that is on the first slot of the rotor. To navigate the first round around this tab, simply start the round into the magazine at about a 30-degree angle to the opening, making sure to get the rim of the cartridge behind that tab. Once the first round is loaded into the magazine the rest can easily be loaded in straight the same as you would any other magazine.
