2015 proved to be a significant year for Savage Arms in terms of new models. For starters, the .338 Federal cartridge was added as a chamber option for quite a few existing models. This year also sees an all new model added to the Target Series in theModel 112 Magnum Target chambered in .338 Lapua Mag.
The biggest centerfire additions however came to the Law Enforcemet Series. Three new Model 10 FCP-SR models were added, two with 24" barrels (RH and LH models) and one with a 20" barrel (RH only). Additionally there is a new Model 11 Scout model featuring a 18" barrel, 10-round detachable magazine, iron sights with rear peep and a forward mounted scope rail. My review of the Scout can be found here.
On the rimfire side of things there are three new models that make up the Landry Series featuring Gator Camo stocks. There's a 22LR single-shot youth model in the Rascal Landry, a threaded heavy barrel 22LR model in the Mark II FV-SR Landry, and a matching 22 WMR model in the 93 FV-SR Landry.
A very unexpected addition to the Model 64 Series are two new left-hand models in the Model 64 FL and 64 FLXP - the latter being packaged with a 3-9x40 Bushnell scope. There's also a new heavy barrel B.Mag Target model fitted with a black laminate stock.
Last but not least, three new shotguns have been added under the Stevens name. New 28ga and .410 bore options have been added to the Stevens 555 over/under line, and a new Stevens 320 Field Grade youth model in 20-gauge has been added as well.
