I saw your post on the other thread and just wanted to say that the HH fits perfectly in a tacticool stock. I meant to measure the barrel but forgot when I get home I will find my calipers and get you the specs
I posted a few questions in another thread about if my plans for my hoghunter would work. I have a Savage Hoghunter chambered in .308 and I desperately want to change the stock. I would also like to convert it to dbm. My plan of action was to buy a Boyds thumbhole stock for a model 11 top bolt release and detachable mag, then buy a accurate mag bottom metal kit. This would give me the correct spacing for the action screws and the bottom metal is supposed to be the same as savage uses. The problem I have is that this version of the stock only comes in the factory barrel size and I need to know the dimensions of the barrel to see if I have enough room to open it up or eabco has a version of the same stock they can open up for extra $$$ if given the desired dimensions. This is my first attempt to customize a rifle and I'm comfortable opening up a barrel channel but not in-letting a stock for a dbm. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Ok 1.07 at barrel nut .950 six inches up and .891 at about nine inches
Thanks I appreciate it, I may have to take a look at the tacticool. Did you use the factory or bull barrel version on yours?
Nice work!!
Do you happen to have a top view, curious on the gap the bull barrel stock would leave.
thanks...no rush...appreciate it.
Thanks...that's not a bad fit at all.You have been a big help....thank you
