Issue going from blind to dbm on CF

I'm converting a Blind mag rifle to DBM. I'm using a factory tupperware I got off SH and a dbm bottom metal, mag, and metal trigger guard from someone else on SH. the 2 pieces don't go together very well, in front of the front action screw the metal is thicker all the way to the end, and the stock is only inletted for this thicker area for about a 1/4". The trigger guard also is narrow compared to the inletting by about a 1/16" on the left and right sides of it. Did i get the wrong stock or something?

could it be the shotgun stock?
