A couple pounds more. What you also get is a nice stiff stock, that also absorbs recoil better than that tupperware. I installed a pachmeyer pad too.
I am considering one of the boyd's JRS classics for my stevens 200. For those of you that have made this switch how much weight gain did you get. Thanks in advance.

Thank you. Wow 2 lbs is a lot more than I was expecting. I better rethink my whole project since I do like the relative light weight of the rifle as is.
I have used 3 JRS stocks on mostly Savage rifles and are happy with them. The 2 lbs difference is for the laminated stocks. Walnut wont be much heavier. Call them and ask about the $50 checkering they offer. They have a new design stock I like the looks of. I plan on 2 more stocks, one for a Savage and one for a Mauser.
