Savage factory 243 9.5" twist...heavy bullets?

Specifically curious how they handle the 105 A-Max and 95/107 SMK.

they do very good with rl 22

Mine loves the 105 grain Amax. 3100 fps with N160 into nice small groups. It's my long distance prairie dog load.

I have had good luck with them and 107 SMK's, and they work Great with Berger 95 VLD's, and the 95 gr SMK's. I find that the 107 SMK get to the target quicker than the 95 gr at 1000 yards. I used IMR 4350. I did well in 600 yard Benchrest match's with the 95 Berger's.

Here is a target I shot at 1000 yards with a Factory 1 in 9.25 twist 243 Win barrel off of a 12 BVSS, using 107 SMK's.
