    Making a Mark II single-shot?

Are there any after-market accessories or tricks to make the Mark II a single-shot? With an empty mag well or empty mag in place you have to get the bullet partly into the chamber by hand before you can push it with the bolt. I'd like something that holds a loose round in line so the bolt can push it in reliably.

There was comments about using the MK1 tray in the above mentioned thread, but it seemed you had to pull the bolt all the way back, but it was only a few dollars for the part. I can't find the post right now in that thread though.

Cool; well if nothing else that guy (AzizaVFR) is still making single-shot magazine blocks for $20 delivered. I ordered one of those.

I bought one to use in a Mini Palma match at the range I belong to (and, anyway, the rules for the 100/200 yd. range are single round load only).

It works perfectly. I highly recommend it.

Buy the one with peep sights.

It's a single shot only and will have a stiffer action because it does not have a cut out in the action for a magazine.

Shooting peep sights is great fun, it takes more practice than using a scope and the peeps can be taken off and a regular scope mount will screw right on.
Be sure to buy a quality scope. If benchrest shooting you want a Mueller 8 X 32, a Millet 8 X 25 X 56 or for the best at a still reasonable price, a Weaver T-24 or T-36 scope, all with the fine hair retical only. You will also need a good front rest, a rock being the minimum, good bags and a very steady table or you will never shoot the smallest groups possible.
