Due to cattle branding up where I shoot p-dogs locally I didnt get started until noon, but just as good since they were out in force again today.
Noon to 5:30pm and 234 rounds into them and plenty for the ranch coyotes to feed the young ones out there. Mirage was horrendous and barely could make em out at even 300yds, but that did not matter to my FP10 as long as the cross was on them....pop/flip & split! 627 steps to my farthest one, so about 550 +/- yards maybe. Savage FP10 .223, 50g vmax in front of W748.
When the wind blew it was fine and as soon as it stopped it was like looking at them under water.
Was a good day even with the cattle bawling all the time out there.
