    Anybody here own a Bushnell 6500 2.5-16x ??

Seems like it would be about perfect for how I hunt.
    Expensive.

2.5-16 would be very awesome... wish other people made that power range

I have had one on a Savage Predator in 22-250 for about 2 years. Very good glass, clear, focused and bright throughout the zoom range and tracks perfect. I went with the 42mm objective lens, didn't want the 50mm hanging on this varmint rig.

Nice to be able to dial it down for coyotes or move it up for a distant groundhog.

Does it have tunnel vision or does the image fill the eyepiece.

Also read it has a 4" eye relief which is nice.

Dont know what else to call it but, all leupold scopes I have looked through
the image fills up the eyepiece.

I thought I might like the Weaver 2-10X, but it has tunnel vision pretty bad
compared to my leupold 2-7X so I returned it.

A friend of mine has a 2.5-16 on his AR. I sighted the scope in for him and was really impressed with the brightness and clarity of the glass. I had no trouble with tunnel vision, probably due to the VERY generous 4" eye relief.

I really like them, and think they are perfect for a hunting rig where you could have a wide range of shots available. They are expensive though.

I have the Bushnell 6500 scopes...

And they are good as far as variable-power scopes go.

But nothing beats a good fixed-power scope with the adjustments built into the scope mount.

I was told once that Bushnell elites are Bausch and Lomb

Heres the Bushnell I really want when it comes out with a different reticle.http://www.snipershide.com/forum/ubb...2511794&page=1

Have a 2.5-16x42 mildot with exposed turrets on my M1A and love it.

Would make a great hunting scope.

$750 seem perfectly reasonable to me. Same price range as the Leupold VX-3 in that max magnification range and it's a much better scope than the Leupold.

I have one of them on my Rem700 in 7Mag tracks great and no problems shooting out to 600yds with it. It will more them likely ride on my Savage 12 F-Class when I get it for awhile till I get something with a bit more power for it.
