Nice shooting. When you say "compact carbine" is that factory, or did you cut down the barrel yourself, if so, what length?
Went to the range with some pards from work, spanked all the Remington tactical .308 and the Sendero's as well.
First load tried. I wonted a load for targets, varmints and deer and went with the 65 gr. Sierra Gameking SPBT.
Pretty good for targets, now lets see how it works on deer....

Its factory model 10 FP.
I have one of these. I believe the correct name for this model is Savege Model 10 Precision Carbine. It is offered in Savage's Law Enforcement Series. Great rifle.
